One of the best things about diving with Lagoon is how close the dive sites are—most points are just a 5 to 10-minute boat ride from the port, and we return to shore after each dive. This means less travel time, no worries about seasickness, and more time for you to relax and enjoy the ocean.

We specialize in diving and snorkeling around the Manza area of Onna Village, a region celebrated for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral gardens, and dramatic underwater rock formations. As a locally-based shop rooted in the community, we do not run trips to the crowded Kerama Islands or the Blue Cave. Instead, we guide you to carefully selected, calm, and uncrowded sites right here in Onna, where you can experience the ocean's natural, untouched beauty.

Q. Do you offer hotel pick-up/drop-off services?

A. No, we do not provide transportation. Please meet directly at our shop by your designated meeting time. We have a free parking lot available for our guests.

Q. Can I dive together with a friend who doesn't have a license?

A. Yes, it is possible! You can dive together if you are willing to adjust to the depth and pace of the Discover Scuba Diving (unlicensed) program.

Q. Is lunch included in the price?

A. No, lunch is not included. Please prepare your own lunch. There is a convenience store (Lawson) within walking distance from our shop, and you are welcome to use our shop's refrigerator and microwave.

Q. Is a reservation required?

A. Yes, advanced reservations are required. Because our boat capacity and instructor availability are strictly limited, we cannot accept walk-ins once we are fully booked. We highly recommend booking your seats as early as possible.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

A. We accept Cash (JPY) and all major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB).

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Our boat and staff are arranged in advance for each reservation. Once your booking is confirmed, we may turn down other guests to secure your seat. Therefore, our cancellation policy applies to all guests equally:

• Weather Policy: If we cancel the boat or change to a beach entry due to unsafe weather/sea conditions, no cancellation fee will be charged.
• Personal Delays: Late arrivals, missed transportation, or oversleeping are considered guest cancellations and will incur the standard fee.

Q. What should I bring on the day?

A. Please bring your C-Card (Certification Card), Logbook, and swimwear.
• We highly recommend wearing your swimwear under your clothes before arriving at the shop.
• Towels are available for rent at the shop for ¥300.

For Beginners (No License Required)

Experience the beautiful and calm waters of Manza, Onna Village! Whether you want to try diving for the first time or relax on the surface, our tours are perfect for beginners, families, and children. All tours are boat-accessible, and full gear rental is included!

🌊 Our Diving Area: Inner Bay (Calm & Safe)

All of our beginner tours take place in the beautiful Inner Bay Area of Manza.
• The Water: Extremely calm, shallow (approx. 5 meters below the boat), and has no currents.
• What you will see: You can safely observe hundreds of colorful tropical fish and the representative coral landscapes of Onna Village right up close.
• Perfect for: Absolute first-timers, children, and anyone who is nervous about swimming or diving. Our instructors will support you every step of the way.

We run boats throughout the day. Please arrive at our shop 1 hour before your chosen departure time. (Total duration: Approx. 2 hours from arrival to dismissal).

Q. I cannot swim well. Can I still participate?

A. Yes, absolutely!
• For Snorkeling: You will wear a life jacket, so you will float effortlessly on the surface. Our guide will also hold a large flotation ring that you can hold onto at all times.
• For Diving: Your instructor will stay right next to you, holding your hand or tank to control your movement. You don't need to swim on your own; just relax and breathe!

Q. What is the minimum age to participate?

• Boat Snorkeling: Available for children aged 5 and older.
• Introductory Diving: Available for guests aged 8 and older.

Q. Do the guides speak English?

A. We have some English-speaking staff, and ALL of our safety briefings, logs, and paperwork are fully available in English. Even if your specific guide is not a fluent English speaker, our team consists of highly experienced, long-term professional instructors who are experts in underwater safety and visual communication. You can dive with total peace of mind!

Q. Is a reservation required?

Q. Will the tour be canceled if it rains?

A. No, the tour runs rain or shine. Rain does not affect underwater visibility or safety. However, if the sea becomes too rough due to strong winds or typhoons, we may cancel the tour for your safety. In case of weather cancellations by our shop, no cancellation fee will apply.

Q. Can I dive together with a friend who is a Certified Diver (C-Card holder)?

A. Yes, absolutely! Certified divers are welcome to join our Introductory Diving tour. To ensure everyone's safety, the certified diver will simply need to adjust to the depth (max 5m), pace, and profile of the Introductory Diving program. It is a wonderful way to share the underwater world together!

Q. Can I dive on the day of my flight?

A.
• Arriving in Okinawa: YES. You can dive in the afternoon after landing in the morning.
• Leaving Okinawa: NO. For safety reasons (decompression risk), you cannot fly on the same day after diving. Please make sure your flight is at least 18–24 hours after your dive. (※Snorkeling guests CAN fly on the same day).

Cancellation Policy

Our boat and staff are arranged in advance for each reservation.

Therefore, our cancellation policy is strict and applies to all guests equally.

After 5:00 PM, 2 days before – until 5:00 PM, 1 day before → 50% of total fee

・After 5:00 PM, 1 day before → 100% of total fee

※The cancellation time is based on when we receive and confirm your cancellation request.

🚫 Important Notes

If we change to a beach entry due to weather or sea conditions, no fee will be charged.

Late arrival, missed transportation, or oversleeping are considered customer cancellations and will incur a fee.
“No show” = 100% charge.
Once we secure your seat on the boat, it is reserved only for you.
Please understand and agree to this policy before booking.
